Handwriting important for early school classes, research shows

Moving away from paper and pens is counterproductive, says psychologist

Handwriting should not be replaced by computer-only learning in early education, according to research by Murdoch University in Western Australia.

A study led by Anabela Malpique, an educational psychologist and lecturer in literacy, looked at the ability of children to write quickly and effortlessly.
