The federal government has announced that 14 proposals to set up national Cooperative Research Centres have passed the first round of the programme’s tough competitive bid process.
The list includes CRCs for regional industries, cyber security, apiary production, brain injuries, and a South Australian medical technology centre for “smart ageing”.
The successful bids were announced by the Department of Industry on 17 May in a short statement posted on its website.
