One of Australia’s leading research managers says that federal Industry Growth Centres have been a major influence in the latest round of bidding for Cooperative Research Centres funding.
CRC Association chief executive Tony Peacock says that all bids submitted in the 19th funding round are linked to industry research priorities developed by the centres.
In an email to CRC participants, Peacock says that 11 bids had been submitted, but the Department of Industry had not yet confirmed if all will be accepted.
