The number of women on the boards of Cooperative Research Centres is falling “well short of targets” to improve gender diversity in business and research leadership, the CRC Association has said.
Chief executive Tony Peacock estimates that the CRC Association’s target of having women in 50 per cent of its executive positions will not be met “on the current trajectory”.
In an email to CRC Association members, Peacock said that women held 28 per cent of board positions in 2018, up from 25 per cent in 2016.
