Australia will work more closely with Japan on military science and technology, following agreements announced on 26 September.
The two countries will boost links between the Defence Science and Technology Organisation of Australia and the Technical Research and Development Institute in Japan, Australian defence minister Stephen Smith said in a speech at the National Institute of Defense Studies in Tokyo.
