AU$9m for joint projects with India

The Australian government will provide AU$8.9 million for joint research projects with Indian scientists under the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF) Grand Challenge Fund, the science minister, Chris Evans, announced on 2 March.

The Grand Challenge Fund is a part of the AU$64m AISRF and invests in the Australian side of the collaboration with up to AU$3m per project. Research funded will focus on food and water security.
