Changes recommended in recent review do not go far enough, academy says

Australia’s research integrity system will continue to fall short despite recommended changes to the main oversight body, the Australian Academy of Science has said.

The Australian Research Integrity Committee was the subject of an independent evaluation that was completed in August and released in December, but the academy says the review was too “narrow” and did not “grapple with…threats to the scientific enterprise”.
