Biodiversity Council survey finds widespread support for environmental issues

A national survey from Australia’s Biodiversity Council has found that almost all Australians want more money to be spent on environmental issues.

In the study, 95 per cent of 3,400 people surveyed said the federal government should spend more on “nature”. Almost three-quarters agreed that “governments should have a duty of care to protect future generations from environmental harm”.
