Western Australia aims to fill the funding gap in health research

A$110 million available to bridge gap between grant funding and true cost of research

The government of Western Australia has announced A$110 million in funding to help fill the gap between health research grant funding and the true cost of research.

In a joint announcement on 27 February, Western Australia premier Roger Cook and medical research minister Stephen Dawson said the money would go to “operational and indirect costs of research and capital upgrades”.
