New laws necessitated calendar changes but funding will still commence on time, Senate hearing told

The Australian Research Council has said that changes to its grants calendar will not delay the awarding of important funding for early career researchers.

He said the ARC was juggling schemes developed under previous laws with the new laws, which take effect on 1 July.
