Adelaide provides training for drone operators

The University of Adelaide in South Australia has received federal accreditation to run courses that will train people to fly drones, or remotely piloted aircraft.

It is the first university in Australia to offer training for a remote pilot licence certified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia.

The UniAdelaide announcement of the new courses coincides with a public backlash over footage showing Queensland One Nation senator Pauline Hanson (above) flying a drone from a city balcony in Townsville.
