Wine Australia has launched a free online global education programme that can also be used as a training guide for wine industry staff.
The grower-funded research agency, based in South Australia, is the first farm industry group to design a comprehensive, multi-level open-access programme that is not offered through a tertiary institute.
Australian Wine Discovered involves 22 self-contained courses that explain the country’s 65 wine regions and winemaking history, and the role of research in developing emerging wine styles and fermentation techniques.
