‘Greenwashing’ may undermine conservation efforts

Unscientific solutions pose danger to environment, University of Queensland study finds

“Greenwashing” poses a real threat to the success of attempts to reverse environmental damage and climate change, a researcher from the University of Queensland has warned.

The term refers to any commercial activity intended by the company involved to give the public a misleading impression that it is more environmentally friendly than is really the case.
