Productivity Commission criticises state’s innovation performance

Poor innovation practices could be costing South Australian workers up to A$8,000 a year in wages, a report from the state’s Productivity Commission has said.

A draft report on turning research into economic competitiveness said the state is at risk of not “fully realising the benefits of emerging opportunities”, particularly around the Aukus submarine project and the rise of green energy.
