Trust in science high in Australia, survey finds

National study shows respect for Stem but concern about participation rates

Australians overwhelmingly support the work of scientists, a report from Science and Technology Australia has said.

The report, published on 9 August and based on a survey of around 1,000 people, found that 9 in 10 respondents believed that science and technology could “solve the problems of tomorrow”.
