Australian universities and societies weigh in on plans for a National Cultural Policy

Those working in Australia’s arts and humanities sector would be forgiven for feeling they have had rather a rough time in recent years.

The cost of studying most humanities subjects more than doubled under the Morrison government’s Job-ready Graduates Package, which aimed to encourage students to take subjects it felt could plug Australia’s skills gaps.
