Universities urge greater investment in knowledge and research after Treasury report highlights Australia’s future challenges
Research-driven productivity will be key to meeting the challenges laid out in the latest Australian Intergenerational Report, universities and industry have said.
The 2023 report was released by treasurer Jim Chalmers on 24 August. The reports are issued by the Treasury every few years and forecast 40 years ahead.
