Australia’s lack of “nationally consistent” reporting comes under the microscope

Australian research organisations are being consulted on options for a nationally consistent approach to reporting their use of animals in their work.

Australia lacks national standards on this issue, the Australian and New Zealand Council for the Care of Animals in Research and Teaching said last month as it sent out an ‘issues paper’ and sought feedback from the sector.
