University of NSW sets up Gandhi memorial lecture

The University of New South Wales has launched an annual lecture to be given by “a person whose life’s work exemplifies the ideals of Gandhi”.

The first lecture, on 30 January, was given by Patrick Dodson, an advocate for constructive relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous people based on mutual respect, understanding and dialogue, the university said.

Dodson is Director of the Indigenous Policy & Dialogue Research Unit at the University of New South Wales.
