Monash University will host an Australian node of Japan’s Systems Biology Institute (SBI), the university said on 19 October.
Based at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI) at Monash, the SBI Australia node will focus on projects ranging from coral bleaching to cancer drugs and better IVF procedures.
Silvio Tiziani, ARMI’s chief operating officer, said the agreement continued the institute’s drive to collaborate with internationally recognised research organisations.
