ANU tightens links with Fujitsu

The Australian University has signed a deal to strengthen collaboration with Japanese ICT giant Fujitsu.

The memorandum of understanding, signed in Japan on 12 November by ANU vice-chancellor Ian Young and Masami Yamamoto, president of Fujitsu Limited, opens the way for opportunities for researcher exchanges.

No specific details were given about the agreement, but it will help Australia use advanced information technologies to meet national challenges, including environmental ones, according to the university’s statement.
