The non-profit Kimberly Foundation Australia, which promotes scientific research into the rock art of the Kimberley, has donated AU$1.5 million to the University of Western Australia.
The money will fund the Kimberley Foundation Ian Potter Chair in Rock Art, the university said on 27 February.
