Monash and Warwick start collaboration

Plans for joint research projects and PhD collaboration between Monash and Warwick universities are underway, the first director of the Monash-Warwick Alliance said on 19 September.

Andrew Coats, a cardiologist, was announced as inaugural academic vice-president and director of the alliance earlier this month. Recruitment for projects in green chemistry and polymers engineering is set to start soon, he said in an interview published on the Monash University website.

The alliance was established earlier this year and has obtained large research grants from both the Australian and UK governments.
