Geneticist Robert Saint has been appointed pro-vice chancellor for research strategy at the University of Adelaide.
Saint, who is dean of the faulty of sciences at the University of Melbourne, will take up the newly-created post in July. He will focus on strategic planning for research at Adelaide and on investing in special initiatives as well as the development of research partnerships.
