VU helps sports clubs counter integrity threats

A guide to help community sports clubs deal with issues such as illegal betting and use of performance-enhancing drugs has been developed by Victoria University in Melbourne.

The Sports Integrity Readiness Kit was developed by VU’s institute of sport in collaboration with the university’s business college and was funded by the state government.

The guide was co-authored by VU sport ethics professor Dennis Hemphill and business psychologist Elisabeth Wilson-Evered.
