Wollongong staff angry over partnership with Ramsay Centre

Sarah Keenan, an Australian legal academic, has resigned from her visiting fellowship at the University of Wollongong following its decision to set up an arts degree course with the controversial Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation.

Keenan posted her resignation on Twitter shortly after the deal was announced in mid-December by the university’s vice-chancellor Paul Wellings and Theo Farrell, executive dean of the faculty of law, humanities and the arts.

The Queensland academic is a law lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London.
