QUT to launch national Indigenous research centre

Brisbane institute will ‘transform learning, teaching and research for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students’

Northern Territory education academic Peter Anderson is to head a national Indigenous research and teaching centre at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.

Anderson, whose cultural heritage is Warlpiri and Murrinh-patha, has been appointed executive director of the Carumba Institute, which will open later this year at the university.
