Charles Sturt University to scrap dozens of courses

Almost 50 courses or course offerings will be phased out

Charles Sturt University in New South Wales has announced that it will scrap or modify 116 courses or course offerings as part of its response to an $80 million drop in revenue.

The university, which runs more than 350 courses, announced on 29 July that 28 entire courses with low student enrolments would be phased out, along with 20 course offerings with no student enrolments.
