Interim report lays out options, but Australian universities say there’s a long road yet
When education minister Jason Clare released the interim report on Australia’s new “university accord”, his main focus was on student issues.
In his 19 July speech to the National Press Club, Clare spoke about access to universities, equity and workforce development; research was mentioned only briefly.
