David Lloyd says Accord process must do more on lifting R&D spending

The Australian Universities Accord process has not properly addressed research funding, Universities Australia chair David Lloyd has said.

Lloyd (pictured), who is vice-chancellor of the University of South Australia, told the National Press Club in a speech on 9 August that Australia’s research spending was “in free fall”.
