Australian education minister Jason Clare faces mammoth task of responding to 400-page Universities Accord report

As anyone working on a thesis knows, writing it is the hardest part.

In 2022 Australia’s government launched its review of Australia’s higher education system, designed to underpin long-term reforms. The remit for the review, carried out by a panel of eminent Australians led by Mary O’Kane, was broad and deep to start with and got broader and deeper over 12 months of research and feedback.
