The European Commission is to revise its aviation safety regulations and standards, including working on better air flight safety and monitoring technologies, Europolitics reports.
A Commission communication warned that Europe’s air travel accident rate needs to continue to decrease to make up for the increase in commercial flying. Accidents are in decline, but the fall has slowed markedly since 2004, the communication warns.
