Archaelogists discover lost cities in Libya

British archaeologists have discovered remains of pre-Islamic farms and villages in Libya using satellite images.

The team, led by David Mattingly at the University of Leicester, discovered more than 100 fortified farms and villages with castle-like structures, built by an ancient civilisation called the Garamantes between 100 and 500 BC.
