The EU and Brazil are planning to launch a joint €10-million call for research proposals in Information and Communication Technologies.
The deal between the European Commission and the Brazilian Government was announced on 8 November, and sealed at their annual ICT dialogue in Brasilia. This event discussed ICT regulation and R&D cooperation, as part of the EU-Brazil Strategic Partnership launched in 2007.
