EU policy is too influenced by industry, in particular in health and environment regulation, two centrist MEPs claimed.
French MEP Corinne Lepage and Bulgarian MEP Antonyia Parvanova, both from the Alliance of Liberal and Democrats for Europe, called for more independent science advice in EU regulatory bodies at a Parliament hearing on 9 November.
