The European Commission has called on health researchers to prepare project proposals for its 2012 healthy ageing innovation partnership.
The partnership, which is to be launched next year, is part of the Commission’s Innovation Union strategy, introduced last June, which proposed a series of European Innovation Partnerships in areas of pan-European interest. The partnership will bring together scientists from academia and industry, and help them turn their results into products and benefits for society.
To support scientists interested in winning funding, the Commission will hold an information session on the call on 11 January 2012. The information session is held jointly by the directorate general for health and the Commission’s Executive Agency for Health and Consumers.
