Ministers in charge of competitiveness issues have endorsed five Joint Programming Initiatives.
At a Council meeting in Brussels on 5 and 6 December, EU ministers have agreed to officially launch JPIs in the following areas: seas and oceans; urban Europe; climate; water; and microbial threats to human health.
