Great-grandson challenges Niels Bohr’s theories

Emil Bjerrum-Bohr, the great-grandson of famed Danish physicist Niels Bohr, has received 10 million kroner (€1.3m) from the Lundbeck foundation to challenge foundational theories in physics, the Information newspaper reported on 28 December.

The 34-year-old scientist, based at the University of Copenhagen, will head a research group at the Niels Bohr Institute housed by the university.
