The Innovative Medicines Initiative has launched a partnership with the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium to improve the circulation of information related to medical research.
The CDISC, a US-based not-for-profit organisation that aims to develop standard data formats to simplify data exchange, will help IMI circulate its research data more effectively. IMI said in a statement that CDISC data formats were already in wide use among the medical research community, and that the system could be seen as “standard” for the field.
