University evaluation programme gets European quality seal

The Independent Evaluation Programme of the European Universities Association has entered the European Quality Assurance Register for higher education.

“IEP is the first quality assurance body that was created with a broad Europe-wide mandate to be listed in the register,” said Lothar Zechlin, chairman of the programme’s steering committee. “This decision will therefore be significant in terms of further development of the European quality assurance framework.”
