The Directorate-General for Energy invites proposals for a geographical database and map of EU coal basins, including potential sources of coal bed methane based on a harmonised typology.
The tenderer will assess the potential of EU coal resources, specifically lignite and hard coal, as well as coal bed methane, and will obtain a digital European database covering all coal basins within the EU.
