Justice court issues ruling on GM-pollinated honey

Honey containing pollen from genetically modified crops requires a specific authorisation for sale, the European Court of Justice said.

Such honey falls within the scope of the EU law on GMOs whether the pollen was introduced intentionally or not, the Court ruled on 6 September.
