More plagiarism scandals rock German science community

A former researcher at the University of Konstanz has failed to appeal against a decision by the university to revoke his PhD over plagiarism allegations, ScienceInsider reports.

Jan Hendrik Schön had his PhD revoked after it emerged that he faked at least 17 research papers while working at the Bell Laboratories in New Jerzey. However, an investigation by the university found that Schön had not committed any fraud while at Konstanz.
