The Austrian government will spend €3 million on clinical research, after a successful funding programme launched last year was renewed.
The Austrian science ministry announced on 3 January that the Programm zur Klinischen Forschung (clinical research programme) would enter a second funding round in 2012. Last year the programme funded 15 projects covering basic research on clinical treatments and diagnoses systems.
