Commission official becomes Spain’s secretary-general for innovation

Roman Arjona Gracia has been appointed secretary-general for innovation at the Spanish Ministry for Economic Affairs and Competitiveness.

Arjona was born in 1970 and has worked at the European Commission’s directorate-general for research since 2004, Europa Press reports. In his last post he served as an assistant to director-general Robert-Jan Smits.
