Environmental ERA blueprint published

The European Commission’s directorate general for research has published a detailed study of the progress of building the European Research Area for the environment.

The 112-page study tracks the record of integrating environmental research so far, and recommends further measures to help build better networks for co-operation between environmental researchers. The study says that Europe needs better public-private collaboration to create the environment ERA, and that governance also needs to be improved.
