One-third of all applications to the seventh round of the Eurostars R&D funding programme for small businesses have been accepted for funding. Eureka, the Brussels-based small business R&D network that coordinates the programme, published data on 18 January showing that 115 projects out of 365 applications had been accepted. Eighty per cent of the €170 million cost of the winning projects will be provided by the businesses; Eureka will provide 20 per cent.
