Bertrand Monthubert, former leader of campaign group Sauvons La Recherche and now head of research for the Socialist Party, has plans to become the president of Toulouse 3 University, reports media website EducPros.
According to the news service, Monthubert—a mathematician at the university—has already won the backing of several education and student unions.
