Germany’s Neumayer station promoted
The German Antarctic research station Neumayer III has been granted international climate monitoring station status by the World Meteorological Organization. The station has measured temperatures every day for the past 30 years. At present the station records outside temperatures, air pressure, wind speed and other weather data every three hours.
