Partners sought for healthy ageing innovation partnerships

The European Commission has called on health researchers to prepare project proposals for its 2012 healthy ageing innovation partnership, which is to be launched this year. It is part of the Commission’s Innovation Union strategy, which proposed a series of European innovation partnerships in areas of pan-European interest. The partnership aims to bring together scientists from academia and industry, and help them turn their results into products and benefits for society. The Commission will hold an information session on the call in Brussels on 11 January.
